Bloggers, social media managers, marketers, advertisers… in short, anyone working in the digital space and presenting their work knows how important visuals are. And rightly so. The human brain processes visual content around 60,000 times faster than text. When you also consider that 90% of the information we absorb is visual, the importance of using images becomes even more evident.
I could go into this in much more detail, but that is not the point of this article. It makes more sense to get straight to it. As the title suggests, I am sharing a list of free image resources that you can use with confidence across all your work — including commercial projects — and on any platform, without worrying about copyright issues.
Some of these resources do not require an account and are updated daily or weekly, while others do require registration.
NOTE: Since licensing terms can change, it is still worth double-checking usage rights before using any images.

A very handy list, thank you. Even years later, the point about how quickly we process visuals still holds true, and having reliable royalty-free sources saves so much time when preparing blog posts and social content. Bookmarking this one.
